REGENTS LIVING ENVIRONMENT This course studies the living environment and its connection to living things. The course includes a laboratory class that helps students investigate the different issues in the environment and how these issues are connected to living things.
REGENTS CHEMISTRY This course provides studies in the different substances around us, its composition, properties, the changes it undergoes and how these concepts are applied to daily life. The laboratory class investigates quantitative and qualitative reactions of substances used in everyday life.
REGENTS EARTH SCIENCE This course is a lecture and laboratory class. The lecture class addresses the content and processes skills as applied to the rigor and relevancy to be assessed by the Regents examination in Physical Setting/Earth Science. The focus will also be on application skills related to real-world situations.
REGENTS PHYSICS Students in this course study the observations and measurements of the physical world. It studies the nature of basic things such as motion, forces, energy, matter, sound, light and the composition of atoms. This course is both lecture and laboratory class. The lecture class addresses the conceptual and mathematical nature of physics. The laboratory class involves the investigation and application of physics concepts to daily life.
AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE The AP Environmental Science course is designed to be the equivalent of a one-semester, introductory college course in environmental science. The goal of the AP Environmental Science course is to provide students with the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world, to identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and human-made, to evaluate the relative risks associated with these problems, and to examine alternative solutions for resolving or preventing them.
AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE This course enhances the comprehension of the agricultural science and includes the study of soils, plants, animals, food science, and supervised agricultural experiences.
AP COMPUTER SCIENCE AP Computer Science embraces problem solving, hardware, algorithms and perspectives that help people utilize computers to address real world problems.
